Finding Out When GSA has finished using the Global Lists

jonathanjonjonathanjon
I have just one project and get GSA to take from my identified list. It's a long list. How do I know how far in GSA is through the list. Also, will GSA continue to redo the list once it's gone through it's first round or will it stop?

Thanks

It just doesn't know as it does not read the URLs in sequence but takes them from a random position. If you want to make sure it does every one, you need to import the site list to the project directly.

Thanks for your response Sven. So it just keeps keeps going on and on right?

Yes, it keeps going on and on, if you have these options checked,

    - Allow posting on same site again
    - Continuously try to post to a site even if failed before

and if you are using the global list, identified and verified...

    Thanks Olve, very helpful!

so if you have those unticked but post only to verified in global lists will it stop after it runs out of links to post to the same way it would if you were doing an imported list?

Yes, it should stop. If you really want to be sure (SER stops) disable "Use URLs from global site lists if enabled". Plus you should also disable all search engines...

ye im not too bothered but at the moment i want to not do repeat domains using verified only lists for most projects while running other projects for newly scraped lists, dont mind a few here and there.
