Proxy assignment won't get saved!

When I assign that I want to use proxies on submission and for searching.. they won't be saved.
I just noticed it when I received an abuse email from my host.

    make sure you actually check "private" and/or "public", else it's the same as being turned off and not saved.

    Ah, yes it works now. Confusing..
