GSA SEO Indexer - Virus Scanner

Hello,

First off, absolutely LOVE these programs!  Thank you for them!

Second, I have Avast Virus Protection on my computer and when running GSA SEO Indexer, about every 5 minutes, I'll get a "Virus Blocked" Message.  Some webpage or something that the Indexer goes through apparently has a Trojan on it.  Is this normal?  Should I be worried?  Is there a way to fix this?

Thank you for your input!

  • Just a guess based on my own programs, but i imagine it is downloading the source of websites in order to parse it. If said website contains references to javascript that has a virus signature, you get that message. As the program isnt executing the js you have nothing to worry about.

Exactly, though I would like to know what site it is so I can remove it on next update. Do you see what site?

@jlo thanks will remove it for upcoming version. Though your PC is safe as nothing is executed from that site.
