I noticed a while ago that the TikiWiki engine is now using Forum comment and Forum title fields.

When was this changed and why?

    It was added some versions back (see changelog). Though you can always turn that off (uncheck "Forum Post" in backlink types).

    What was the reason for this change?

    Would SER still add our link automatically if we use the default information in those fields for TikiWiki?

    I don't get what you mean, but if you do not fill anything into the "Forum Comment" and "Forum Subject" it will use the default one.

    What I mean is, before it used to use the article field for creating a page with an article and contextual link, will ser still do this if I leave the default information there, or should I just place my article and website title in those fields?

    I have just been doing my second option stated above.

    TikiWiki never posted an Article before, but yes feel free to use your Article in the fields.
