Does any of the document share engines post a pdf ?

I checked all 3 document sharing engines boxes, set up my pdfs ...
but i only see profile links ? Is that ment to be like that ?
Where are the pdfs used ?

    Yes it's like that. There is only one engine using the pdf right now. Move the mouse over the Help field form the pdf field input and see for yourself.

    I experience that G gives no credit to links, neither profile links nor links in PDFs shared
    but both above sites actually drive generic traffic to my site

    I guess doc sharing vie SER might be similar in result
