How Many Projects Per VPS?

How many projects is it advisable to run per VPS and GSA instance? 

Using a 6.80ghx, 2GB Ram VPS. 

I know that many variables are involved, but ballpark, how many projects are people running per VPS, before they need to get a 2nd or 3rd VPS?

Do we just check the GSA Ram usage and see if it averages around 2, then it's upgrade time?

    I've run up to 8 projects before before maxing out the CPU, these were also each with a tier2 running. I thought I read where GSA will only use 2.1gig of memory?

    SER is a Win32 application and has only 2GB of address space at his disposal, but memory problems will occur earlier because of address space fragmentation. On my system SER throws exceptions when memory usage exceeds 1,7 GB.

    How much RAM usage for GSA before we need to upgrade to two programs? Is 1.7gb seems to be about the correct number.
