How many threads?

I have a 1GB RAM vps with 4 cpus. How many threads is recommended for this vps configuration?

    slowly increase it till you reach like 700mb usage. I wouldn't use more than 100 anyway.

    We never go higher than 150 Threads with a ton of proxies (800+ private) - we reach 150+ LPM easily on each of our servers.

    The thread count doesn't need to be very high as Sven said - test around a bit, we have slightly different thread counts and captcha retries for each server (depending on what links we run and how many projects).

    Find the sweet spot for each individual server and then scale high! ;)

    What I mean is is there a downside for having SER run in more than 700Mb

    No, just that he has "only" 1GB RAM, so to keep some buffer I think it's better to stay 300MB below that maximum.
