so they will not create ser project by other tool?

I think @theorbital solved it by using a macro here that gets password from an external file.

or don't encrypt password for pop3

yeah, there wasn't much demand so I didn't pursue dev on it but you can use a file macro so it reads the password from the file but even then it isn't much help.
ill have to automate the actual GUI of ser for it to work.

I vote for don't encrypt. These are just throw away pop3 account anyway.

What's the value of encrypting this pop3 password? Surely you can access it anyway by just viewing the project in SER? @sven - what's the logic behind this as it makes it a pain to edit in the .prj's!

I have my reasons. I don't want to have sensitive data in project files that could get leaked and read if someone opens a plain ini file. Now stop arguing about it. Im not going to change it.

I have a workaround anyway...just was curious about it. :-)
