Best Proxy Type for GSA SER?

SupernovaSupernova Internet

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to buy some proxies for GSA SER, but I'm not sure which proxy type is the best choice.

I noticed there are four options available: CONNECT, WEB, SOCKS4, and SOCKS5.

Which one do you recommend for GSA SER, and why? Is there any noticeable difference in terms of speed, compatibility, or success rate?

I'd appreciate hearing your experiences. Thanks!

CONNECT/SOCKS4/5 are probably the best as you can use them even for none HTTP tasks. WEB is often causing problems with HTTPS traffic.
However, if you buy proxies, you will most likely get the good types. I can not imaging anyone providing WEB only.

    Got it, that's helpful.

On a related note, between rotating and static proxies, which would you recommend? Depends on the use case I assume, but curious what you'd suggest and what.

Just wanted to ask, which part of the process actually requires private (paid) proxies the most, aside from submissions? Trying to cut down on proxy costs where possible.
