Help with configuring GSA SER + XEvil (local PC API, dynamic IP issue)

AnonymousAnonymous

Hi everyone,

I’m running into a setup problem and could use some guidance.

  • I have XEvil captcha solver installed on my personal PC. My machine is powerful enough to handle XEvil since it’s resource‑intensive.
  • I’m using a GreenCloudVPS (16GB RAM) for GSA SER, but the CPU usage is constantly at 100%, so I’d prefer to offload captcha solving to XEvil on my home PC.
  • The idea is: GSA SER on VPS → send captchas → XEvil on my PC → solved via API (acting like a server).

The issue:

  • With VPS/dedicated servers, you can just add the static IP address of the XEvil machine.
  • My home PC, however, has a dynamic IP address, so I’m not sure how to configure GSA SER to reliably send captchas to XEvil running locally.

Has anyone set this up before?

  • Do I need to use a dynamic DNS service (like No‑IP or DuckDNS) to point to my PC?
  • Or is there another way to make GSA SER connect to XEvil on a home machine with changing IP?

Not an answer to your technical questions but I'd rather just rent another VPS for $10/m.

Where can I find 32GB ram memory and powerful CPU VPS for $10 ?  Xevil support told me to get 32 GB ram minimum and decent CPU.

How much do you spend on this setup?

I'm running XEvil with 150 threads on a netcup VPS 1000 G12 Pro MNZ for €7/month.

This one? https://www.netcup.com/en/server/vps or this one? https://www.netcup.com/en/server/root-server

Also, do you have Windows server license paid or you got some for free?

The more affordable VPS 1000 plan, not the dedicated servers RS 1000/2000 (which I also use for SER and other tasks). Prices have apparently gone up. But when I consider the costs of decent hardware and electricity, it’s still the most economical option. And certainly good enough for XEvil 6/7.

@Anonymous You might want to check out our VPS options. We offer three tiers—Budget, Ryzen, and Performance EPYC—at pricing that’s typically lower than what most providers other people here recommend.

Our plans also include a licensed Windows OS (not just a root server), making them even more cost-effective.

Our VPS solutions are GSA-optimized and available in multiple global locations on 10Gbps unmetered, not throttled.

    Hi,

Will they be able to support just XEvil software? I need it just for that.

    Yes very easy.

Just make sure you choose either the Ryzen VPS or the Performance, skip the the budget line as its only meant for very light tasks wont work well with XEvil.

@organiccastleI recently switched to VPS plan you suggested and installed Windows Server 2025. Performance is better than my old host (where I had basically zero success rate), but I’m still seeing CPU usage constantly at 90–100% even with only ~50 XEvil threads. You mentioned that you run 150 threads.

When I check GSA SER’s Captcha Stats, the success rate looks poor - lots of “Failed.” But when I look inside XEvil itself, I see counters like “Bad,” “Bad SiteKey,” etc. The numbers don’t match.

    So my questions are:

    • What exactly does “Failed” mean in SER?

    • Why do SER stats look worse than XEvil’s own stats?

    • What's your success rates for ReCaptcha v2/v3 with XEvil in SER captcha stats?

Hi, What VPS are you on. Did you install Windows yourself or did they install it? I am running latest Xevil 7 currently on my GSA SER installed server where I run few softwares and I am hitting 80 - 90% CPU usage however my captcha success is super high like 90 - 95% most of the time (both recaptcha v2 / v3) but solving time is around 1min anyway I don't care as long as I am getting my target verifieds for campaign. I am looking to lower the solve time.. Check if your proxies are rotating?

Hi, I am running VPS 1000 G12 but I'll switch to dedicated server RS 1000 G12 because I still see low success rate in stats I assume VPS is not powerful enough to handle recaptcha as it's failing in captcha stats really low success rate. I installed Windows on my own they have tutorial but I'll go with Windows 2022 OS next time as it's less resource intensive don't need anything special from 2025 OS. Proxies are from reproxy and they rotate.  https://www.netcup.com/en/helpcenter/documentation/server/windows-installation
