Can't get Results any longer.

Hey all,  I'm not sure if this is the case with anyone else.  But I cannot get results with GSA any longer.   I've tried every Method,  every backlink formula,  Every tier combination,  I've bought custom Engines, From Cherub which are great.    I've unfortunately bought GSA Ser,  which was terrible.    I've followed strategies from SickSEO.  Just nothing i run on GSA is moving.    I know this has been happening for a couple of years now.

I think at least for what I do and the niches i go for have changed.  GSA just doesn't cut it anymore or even do anything at all any longer.  Could be because the engines are all just dead,  Except for custom ones,  or the ones that do work just don't do anything but pure spam.    Sure,  It helps get things indexed,  but i've found cheaper and faster methods to get that done.    Cheaper not as GSA is expensive,  cause it's not for what you get at all.  But when you combine everything.  Proxies, Emails, Xevil,  It comes out to be a very expensive Indexer.  I've tried all the other Major tools out there.  I'd list them all,  but not sure that's allowed.    They all produced similar results.

Why do i think i'm not seeing the results any longer,  I think the game has changed.  These type of links just don't really cut it any longer.   All i see almost on every keyword.  Is parasite SEO, parasite Spam,  Web 2.0's everywhere and the sites they are all linking to are all ranking.  I've done a lot of testing,  and the ones i've done manually are ranking just fine.

For those that are still using it and seeing great results, that's amazing.  I really hope it continues for you all.   But sadly for me,  I just can't get anything with it any longer. I used to have 40 copies of GSA/Captcha breaker/SEO Indexer/  all sorts of things.   I'm down to my last server running GSA,  and i don't think i will renew it.

  • Hi Hunar,

I can’t really speak yet about the current efficiency of GSA SER, but back in the day it worked wonders for me—I made six figures using GSA SER alone, and I’m genuinely thankful to Sven for creating such a tool.

That was a long time ago though, and I’m nowhere near those levels now as I’m just returning to SEO after a 5‑year break, trying to re‑learn and refresh my memory.

When you say it doesn’t work, I assume you’re talking about affiliate sites? Have you tried ranking parasite pages, and are you focusing only on contextual backlinks or mixing in other types?

Personally, I’m trying to build a site list, but getting contextuals today feels much harder than 8 years ago. Many platforms like WordPress/Drupal either don’t allow registrations anymore or have disabled forms.

Even when submissions go through, only a tiny fraction gets verified, which makes it feel like a waste of SER’s resources (proxies, emails, etc.). The submitted‑to‑verified ratio for contextuals is just not what it used to be.

I’ll probably test Cherub’s service for contextual links as well. Over the years, a lot of people filtered sites based on metrics like MOZ, Majestic, or Ahrefs—but those are really just third‑party guesses and don’t reflect what Google values.

In my opinion, the closest thing to a true valuation in Google’s eyes is the number of organic keywords a site ranks for. If a site ranks for 10k+ organic keywords, it’s clear Google trusts it, so a backlink from that site is gold—even if its DA/DR is only 5—compared to a DA/DR 80 site with zero organic keywords and no traffic.

I’ve already requested a feature in PR Emulator to fetch SEMrush data for this purpose. Not sure how many contextual platforms will realistically show strong organic stats, but it’s definitely worth testing.

  • Hello!

Yes I've been using GSA For so long,  Since it first came out,  and i've honestly made quite a bit from it.   Same as you,  I did very, very well for myself.  I even had a 20 Person Team here in the US.

Yes, all i do is affiliate sites,  and it worked so well with GSA for so long.  But the last couples of years,  it's just gotten more and more harder to rank. I think it's just others are using Parasite SEO more and more,  and GSA just isn't able to keep up in that regard.    So,  Slowly,  I've been cutting out servers as i go and now i'm finally down to my last one,  and probaly just gonna go all in on parasite SEO,  as that seems to be what's working now.    But i'm not gonna run GSA on parasite pages,  There are faster/cheaper ways to get parasites Indexed/Ranked then buying proxies/Emails/Captcha's  Not quite as hands off,  but absolutely doable.

Well,  maybe this is just a me thing.  But I find it very difficult to find good sites to post to on GSA that aren't already spammed to death.   I even build my own scraping system using commoncrawl.   Filtered through GSA PI.    and I've tried every linking system,  every Tier System,  Super High Filters with Really high quality sites,  Down to Just straight up blasting and everything in between,  I just can't get anything to move using gsa any longer.   Same goes with other tools out there,  I've ran the majority of them every which way you can think of.  Just nothing though.

But if it works for you and everyone that's amazing.
