@Sven and community, i do have pretty fast vps and the system recommends to not use more than 100 threads. Was wondering if this is a limitation of the software? will a fast vps allow me to run gsa ser at > 100 threads? like 200 300 or even 500?
Whilst the software can handle many more threads, you'll encounter other issues with proxies and even recaptcha solving - these would need to be scaled up accordingly as you increase your GSA SER threads. I'm running mine at 100 threads as it seems to give the best results and success rates.
I've run at 300 threads on an 8 core vps and the speed is pretty insane, but I see more errors with recaptchas not being solved in time and download errors with the proxies I use.
The other factor is the choice of engines. Blog comments/guestbooks with high obls seem to be a real cpu and memory killer for the software. All the other engines run really good with low cpu/memory use.
