TAG system is full of bugs

Could you please repair the TAG system? It doesn't work since I bought GSA Proxy Scraper many years ago and it has never been fixed.

An example:
  • Replace a predefined Tag in the settings with a custom one. 
  • Then go to Settings > Automatic Search > Re-Test also present working proxies > Only test ... [select tags]
You won't see the custom tags you defined. Instead only the old tags which you have overwritten before are selectable. 
  • After that you can close the settings window and open it again, navigate to the place where the tags can be defined by yourself and you will see, that the custom tags you have defined before are gone. Instead the old default tags are shown.

And another recommendation for improvements for upcoming versions:
  • It would be really nice if there was an option to remove proxys with duplicate exit ip's.

EDIT 17.10.2025:
I forgot to say that I never got GSA Proxy Scraper to run longer than 2 days without crashing because of memory usage. I think there is an issue in freeing up memory because it doesn't matter how many threads are running and I never set more than 100 threads.

    I will check it asap...if it's broken, I will fix it. But yea no need to use such hard words ... I will work on things no matter that language used...so better be polite ;)

    What makes you feel that i am rude? The topic title? I didn't want to leave the wrong impression. Sorry for any misunderstandings that may have occurred.

    Welcome back, @Sven. :) Hope your time out of the office was fun, or at least a welcome change. 
    I am not sure everyone knows how you take care of your software products! I think people are used to seeing a different reality, but you put care into what you do, and you're right here to help, along with a community of new and older users. This is fun, no? Where else do you find this? A true spirit of science and investigation, experimentation...this is a unique place.

    Improving GSA products is what we all like doing here. So if there are issues, just know @Sven and everyone else wants users to report them!
    Anyone here for a bit knows GSA products and SER have all grown and become more useful and functional over time.
    I just wonder how no one else noticed if there were issues with the Tags. :| Guess I, for one, wasn't paying enough attention? :|

    I have uploaded a screen video for you to reproduce the bug: 

    • At 01:33 the color of the tag has changed on it's own.
    • At 02:11 the tag is completely gone.

    Yes it's because of wrong implementation of embedded youtube videos in your forum. You can change the url of the media tag/embedded iframe to youtube-nocookie.com to make it work.
