Proxy Scraper Suggestions - Any Thoughts?
Hi there
First off, what I really like about the GSA Software development is that suggestions are acted upon very quickly.
1. The Last Suggestion, I suggested, was the one in which we can see what IP Address is being used.
2. When Testing "Proxies Against" a Filter was created to Delete Dead or IP's that were either asleep or dead

I use this GSA on Linux, and it seems 99% Stable
The Only problem that occurs is a rendering issue when I go from Normal size to full screen.
I'm not worried about that, as it seems Rock solid on Windows, and it's probably a driver issue on Linux anyway.

Suggestions !!
1. Could we please have any way of Filtering and deleting, or "Hiding" any Proxies within the "Reliability"
column
2. A Forced Timeout that will Strictly stop an IP that just sits there and doesn't respond within the Real Timeout
set
They Say, If it works "Don't Fix it" so to be honest, there isnt really much that I can think of to refine this
Software
3. The testing for "Gateways" never seems to work, now that is a useful option that would be great if it was stable

I think the Forced Timeout would eliminate this
3. It seems a lot Snappier and faster
GSA is now Software I would recommend, for many reasons, but mainly because its a Solid piece of Software, where you havnt Abandoned from your loyal customers
I have been meaning to Post for a few weeks now regarding these suggestions
I have tested it on a Good known Range, and it still dosnt pick up the "Proxies and Ports" in that range
You added, the Option to Remove "Dead" Servers which was great
It would be great to be able to Filter out the Slow server causing problems.
This could be useful due to when I am trying to have a tidy workspace.
When I resize some of the GSA Windows disappears.
The only way to Gain control seems to be Ctrl Alt Task Manager End task
I hope what I am saying makes sense?
Thankyou
Let me test later, when back at my PC
Take Care
It has done it again.
If you need any further info, pleas let me know
I was just wondering...what system are you running on? Is it Windows? A Windows emulation on some other system? If Windows, is it Intel or AMD? I find this running programs on an Intel-based processor seems to have these horrible issues with not being able to close windows. Odd, since Windows is written for Intel, I thought? Could that be it? Does this happen with any other programs? Sorry if this is way off-course, friend.
I am Running
Windows 10
AMD Based Pc
32 G Ram
SSD Hard drive
I have recently updated GSA, and it didn't seem to be occurring.
Everything else seems to be working fine.
I thought the testing of sites had hung up because of a slow site responding.
Thanks for the helpful suggestions.
I will watch this thread, to see if anybody else is having similar issues
1. I can try lowering the threads
2. I get no prior popups
3. I am not using any proxies to scan with
4. I updated my Kaspersky yesterday, and I will try...
5. To disable Kaspersky
6. Go back to the GSA Version before
7. I will try the same version in Linux and see if it occurs.
Thanks, and I will keep you updated
