    Yes thats what many customers used it for in the past. The rules haven't changed much since years.

    Of course it can be done! SER only creates backlinks for the links you provide, which can be entire sites or just single URLs. Obviously then you have to index the backlinks, so you can use the PING URL entered in SER or use an indexer
