keywords in URL - which format is correct?

edited March 2023 in Need Help
hi,

in the past I saw this is the right format:
https://www.domain.com/folder#{keyword1|keyword2}

but now I see GSA generates this format:
https://www.domain.com/folder#keyword1#keyword2

and in the manual there's this:
URL#keyword1, keyword2,…

which one is the correct one?

thanks

    Spin syntax is correct.
Where did you see the 2nd format in GSA Content Generator?
And where did you read about the 3rd format in what manual?

    From GSA:

    from the manual:
    https://docu.gsa-online.de/search_engine_ranker/advanced_setup
    under generic urls

gui: thats the secondary anchor text.
manual: that format works as well, but spin syntax is preferred...I have updated the manual now.

Does the 'Add URL and Anchor Text Secondary Anchor' actually work?
    The GUI generates 'https://www.domain.com/folder#keyword1#keyword2' format
In my testing, I can't see any Preview articles where the secondary anchor is being placed. Tested with multiple Previews but GSA only seems to place the primary anchor.
Is there some other setting that needs to be set somewhere?

You need to define a percentage for the secondary anchor text in DATA tab.
