Which VPS is better for GSA?

Hi, I'm looking for a VPS to run GSA and I'm unsure among these 2 servers:

Option 1: 8 Core Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v4 @ 2.20GHz | 30 GB Ram | SSD storage | 600 Mbit @ 32 TB bandwidth
Option 2: 4 Core AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor | 8GB Ecc Ram | NVMe storage | 1 Gbps unmetered shared

As far as I know, the second has much more recent hardware and should be better. But the first has a lot of RAM. Which one do you suggest me in order to make more links?
I have no idea if RAM metters or not. Someone is telling me that GSA can't run more than 4GB Ram but at the same time, I remember I once watched a guy on Youtube bragging how he run GSA on a 256 GB server... Can you please clarify this. Thank you.

    @giggioman

    Instead of guessing which is the fastest,  when buying a cpu, it is always best to look at cpu bench mark score,  to have a more accurate view of which is the best.

    For GSA ser you dont need much ram, because  since it is a 32 bit program, it mean it will NEVER be able to use more than 3.X GB of RAM  --- my recommendation  is if you also have other apps running apart from GSA - is to get  8 -12 GB RAM

    From your list of CPU's the AMD Ryzen is about 500% faster than the single Intel CPU, the AMD also comes with Nvme drive as you indicated so you will have  maybe 10 x faster read and writes speeds than a normal ssd. It also have a much faster 1Gbps connection

    So i wont even think twice - just select the AMD option

    single  intel xeon e5-2630 v4 benchmark === score  = 11,104

    Dual intel xeon e5-2630 v4 benchmark === score  = 19,630
    https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Xeon+E5-2630+v4+@+2.20GHz&id=2758&cpuCount=2

    AMD Ryzen 9 5950X benchmark  === score  =  46,161

  • I'm running the AMD 5950x with GSA SER and XEvil on a dedi server with 128 GB ram. It's pretty nuts as far as performance goes. It's really needed for XEvil as it takes a lot of memory and cpu resource and I have all my vps sending captchas to it. GSA only uses 3-4 gb ram maximum.

    I've set GSA to run at 1000 threads and easily hit between 1000-3500vpm. Cpu is at 1% - 3% lol The cpu allows this high thread and stable performance. You can't do that on a low spec vps. Usually 100-300 threads will be the limit on a low spec vps. But memory has nothing to do with it. It's the better cpu that allows the higher threads and hence higher vpm.

    I wonder what you are doing and when you get links to feed ? lol

    How many recaptchas can be solved by this cpu?
  • I have XEvil set at 500 solving threads and it's very stable. That's with Hrefer running at 100 thrreads and GSA SER at 1000 threads on same machine.

    I've tested XEvil at up to1000 solving threads on this machine, but the CPU is constantly at 100% and after some time, the machine just crashes. Or XEvil throws out of memory errors, even though there is plenty of ram still available.
  • Do you really need XEvil over GSA Captcha Breaker?
  • If you want links from more websites, then yes, you need xevil. V2/V3 solving is the main thing and kcaptcha for datalife cms is what it's really good at and GSA CB can't solve.
  • Can you share me vps service you use please
  • I'm using Hetzner cloud, but if you're in Asia, you'll likely experience lag whilst connecting to the vps.

    The finland location is the fastest, but they have vps in germany, finland and usa, nothing in Asia.

    They work with VPS windows

    Where do you buy the windows server licence?
  • sickseosickseo London,UK
    There is no windows license to buy. Hetzner allow you to mount your own windows which saves you on the monthly windows license fee.

    If you are using Hetzner Cloud then this video will show you how to install windows for free:

    If you are using their dedi servers (recommended for XEvil and running GSA SER at 1000 threads), the installation of windows is slightly different, but still free:

    How did you activate windows?
  • sickseosickseo London,UK
    I didn't bother with activation. It makes no difference to the running of the software.
