How can I set GSA SER to start and automatically run on windows startup?

    I'm using a Windows Server 2008 vps, btw

    Just opening the software on startup is not good enough, how can I make it "Start" automatically, without me needing to push "Start" button?

    He wants the SER "Start" button clicked.  Opening the program isn't the problem I don't think.

    if you add the "-autostart" option to your autostart entry, SER should start all active projects.

    Thanks, could you run me through the steps of where exactly do I add "GSA_Search_Engine_Ranker.exe -autostart" line?

    so you added a shortcut to your autostart menu? right click on it and select properties. go to the shortcut tab and add "-autostart" to the end, as shown in the picture:

    Yes, the command line is called "-scheduler" ;)

    Where is autostart entry/button/folder? Is it in the computer or in the software file? Please let me know.

    I bought this tool:  http://sertools.com/ser-crash-catcher/

    But the download is not available, in the process of contacting the vendor.

    Does anyone know of other softwares that can detect that GSA has crashed and will automatically close it and re-open again?

    I was looking for the "autostart scheduler parameter" but couldn't find this post, so giving it a bump here.

    -autostart will start it and automatically press the Start button.

    -scheduler will start the scheduler with last settings

    Whats the parameter to change dir for sitelist? (or the app folder)_

    just put a valid folder as command line.
