Should we ever link to A Name Anchor In A URL?

Let's say my comment is something like:

H☩☩ps://interestingblog.com/Articles/Why-This-Site-Is-Fun/#comment-770845

Should I *ever* include the A # corresponding to the A name at the end???

If so, will this work with every engine?

    that #jump-tag is not important for SEO (at least in my eyes). I never heard that search engines will use this at all. It's just for the browser to jump to the right location.

    Maybe Im wrong about it, so correct me if I am.

    Hmm..I, for one, am unsure, but if it the A Name #jump-tag can be used, without issue, I will try using it where appropriate.

    It's clearer, semantically (I feel). I mean, it shows exactly where I'm linking to on a page...
