Questions About SER SockError & GSA-PS

I left SER on overnight and woke to find it hadn't made many links.

There errros were returned:

SockError: No Buffer space available [first appeared at 2018-08-19 05:32]
POP3 Login failed - SockError: Network subsystem is unusable [first appeared at 2018-08-19 02:54]
POP3 Login failed - SockError: Network subsystem is unusable [first appeared at 2018-08-19 02:46]

What happened??  Also, GSA-PS was EMPTY, showing no proxies, and -11 for the counts! Didn't get a screenshot.

Now, I restarted GSA-PS and there are ZERO proxies in the lists.

There had been tens of thousands....on restart PS is again acquiring proxies but it's starting from zero. :(

Is there a way to restore the list to a past point in time, as it's clear all those proxies did not go down and I had some sort of error?

    PS: you can try to re-add them with add->previously removed
    for the "no buffer space available" see here.

    "add->previously removed"

    OK  Did this. The totals (on top of status panel) did NOT go up immediately, is this b/c PS wants to test all of them again before adding?

    Or was it unsuccessful?

    Status Message:

    GUI: testing 86528 Proxies...
    Extracting proxies from 3068 Sources...

    So I guess these are the ones from before? Is there any way to override the tests and declare them all OK? Ir is this a bad idea...

    'for the "no buffer space available" see here.'

    Hmm...Sven, I have Win7, regedit shows no TcpTimedWaitDelay or MaxUserPort for TCPIP Parameters.

    I added these as string values under Parameters. Is this OK?

    Or should In have used binary value and entered it that way?

    Or, totally off?! :o

    yes all previously working and removed proxies will get tested again.

    "yes all previously working and removed proxies will get tested again."

    OK....How can I skip this process if I ever lose the lsit again in future, Sven?

    Also, found this

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters

    Value Type: DWORD
    Valid Range: 5000-65534 (decimal)
    Default: 0x1388 (5000 decimal – when not set – see the notes for MS08-037 for an update on pre-Vista behaviour)

    Also found these:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters]

    “TcpMaxDataRetransmissions= 5”

    “KeepAliveInterval= 1”

    "StrictTimeWaitSeqCheck"=dword:00000001

    Also none set.  Should these be considered also??
