Hi

 Im using CB with DeathByCaptcha and collecting samples images with their results.

 Whats a good amount of samples to use fixed result hash filter for an image type like this?
 
Charset: 123456789abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
Length: 6  chars

 Maybe 100.000 images could help. Right?

    Hmm no, that algorithm is really for fixed images who are always the same. Usually the captchas are generated once and are located as files on the server who are served randomly. So of course the hash of that captcha will always be the same.

    This is however not the same when a captcha is generated. In some rare cases it is when there is no noize or always the same static noise. But if you see nothing like that and random noise/char translation, then it makes no sense to use this.
