gsa is testing against

whatismyipaddress.com/proxy-check

which sometimes the link is very slow (takes over 10 seconds) and gsa will timeout (because by default the timeout is 5 seconds) making the proxy to fail

    well test against something else?

    well what you suggest? Removing it? It's still a legitimate test.

    put a bigger timeout, at least 15 seconds for it

    You can add a custom test url super easy. :)

    IE: https://www.iplocation.net/find-ip-address, https://www.ip-secrets.com/ etc.

    Just google what your looking for.

    thanks but the problem isn't with us, we know how to use gsa. 

    The problem is that our user won't believe that the proxies are good if they are failing  whatismyipaddress and they will believe that we try to trick them to make a different test
