Using your own list ONLY

Lets say I have a list of websites, and I want to use ONLY this list...Cant figure out how..
So far I have tried the following : 
Options->Advanced->Tools->Import and sort URL...
Have no idea what to do next and how to use only this list...

    By "I have a list of websites" do you mean you own the websites and have admin rights or do you mean you have a list of URLs you have scraped and you want to use that?

    If it is literally a saved file with a list of URLs in it and hasnt been identified and you dont have GSA PI I would make the project you want to run through it and right click your project -> Import Target URLs -> From File.

    Then select the file you have and activate the project. If you have a low number of projects running in your SER instance you could use SER to identify them but I feel its a waste of time.

    Second to what @Shaun said. I tend to import my targets directly to my projects for identification & posting when I'm not dealing with only a handful of projects.
