Do web proxies (aka the type you'd get from buyproxies.org) work?
I'm tried to import them and they all failed - perhaps the format of the ip:port:login is in the wrong order?

If I need Socks proxies - can you please recommend a service that I should be using? Thanks!

    web proxies do not work here. You would need socks or connect proxies.
