Article Spins into PDFs

shaunshaun https://www.youtube.com/ShaunMarrs
Evening @Sven,

I have never tried the document sharing platform features or SER as I never likes the idea of SER not being able to unspin the articles the user loads into it and make a PDF from it for submission.

Is there anyway you would be able to add something to do this? So SER will recognise a PDF sharing site, unspin an article, convert it to PDF and then submit it?

    @sven any thoughts on this?

    hmm sorry but that would require me to build some pdf encode/decoder. That doesn'T sound like an easy task.
  • That is why i'm not using article sharing platform. It will be a great idea to spin article and make a pdf by software itself and submit.

    but you can e.g. create many different pdf variations and put them in a folder. In the project you would use a %spinfolder% macro as input.

    @Sven thanks for the input, I have never actually used the %spinfolder% function before. Does it just pull a random article or PDF from the destination folder and use it for that submission?
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
    spinfolder takes a random file from that folder yes.
  • @shaun

    The more popular PDF readers like Adobe, Foxit etc have a batch facility that allow you to load multiple text, html, word docs into it and it'll mass produce PDF's into a folder where you can then use the %spinfolder% macro.

    Note. It's the paid for versions that have this functionality but you can grab 30 day free trials of them if you want to test it out.

    @Johan Cheers mate thats a nice little tip :) I will defo check it out.

    @Sven Would it be a pain for you to add something like %spinfolderunique% so it would pull a file from that folder and then never choose that file again and then once all files from the folder have been used give the little red warning triangle? Just helps keep duplicate content down to a minimum.

    I still havent had the time to do any testing so sorry if this is allready how the feature works :P.

    then you can use spinfolderdelete as macro
