DNS Server For Improving Verified Rates

Hi

I see there are 2 options.
1) Use a random DNS server from the list.
2) Use a custom DNS server.

What setting should we use here to get the maximum verified rate?

Alex

You better stay off that option if you have no issues with your default dns server.
    2) would then be better if it's stable

    2) What DNS server should I use for custom DNS server? DO I just use the same as a proxy server IP? It seems to work too.

hmm no better not... a dns server is not a proxy one. Just skip that whole thing if the program can resolve mx records of domains.

Do you have any docs that help explain which setting to use in what instance? I read your docs but they only said what it was, not how best to use it.

How do I solve these entries:
    > bind socked successful on 0.0.0.0
    > Connecting to mx00.1and1.co.uk:25
< 554 invalid DNS PTR resource record, IP=41.164.155.148
    > QUIT
    <
    > Connecting to mx01.1and1.co.uk:25
< 554 invalid DNS PTR resource record, IP=41.164.155.148
    > QUIT
    <

that has nothing to do with the dns server...it's a reply from the smtp server that your ip is not one that is known (so blocked).

Ah ok. So in future updates this would then get marked as unsure rather than invalid right?

    yes
