luckyman2 look how the url looks like, its bad request beacuse the url is not really a url

unless you are talking about "Error" :P then i dont know
  • I just started getting "error" on every url it looks up. Nothing's changed, it's been working fine for weeks with GSA. GSA still plugs away fine.

Tested proxies, they're all testing as OK and have been used all this time by GSA as well.

    Tried restarting it as well.

Hey guys - there was a change happened over night that caused this issue - if you restart PR Jacker you'll be prompted to install an update :)

Let me know how you all get on!

Would be great if you can have a auto update feature built in
  • Thanks for the update @emptee, all working fine now!

I think it's way more useful to code a tool using Semrush API. Shouldn't be that hard.  First trim all domains to root (or use individual pages for comment engines), use the domain's tld or lang attribute to do an API call for that specific Google version, filter domains ranking top "x" for keywords with more than "x" searches and done.

It'd be way more useful than Moz or Majestic metrics because Google really doesn't give a shit about them. But if a domain/page is ranking top 3 for keywords with, lets say, 1000 searches monthly Google definitely trusts that domain..There's simply no better indicator ATM.

One disadvantage is that their API units are quite expensive (1,000,000 for $50, which means long tails could eat them in no time), and although I haven't read their API documentation I assume the API (just as their website) will provide the top keywords first. In that case 30 units would be more than enough per domain, which means you could check 33,000 domains with the cheapest package.

  • Hey guys, I've created bulk cf tf checker with proxies support. But the difference is it's web based and completely free. http://theseotools.net/bulk-majestic-checker

Let me know if you found any bug in it. I'll try to fix it asap.

    Hey guys,

Yea I'm still around - busy, but still around for sure :)

Email is generally best as I often have Skype set to DnD, or even closed on my primary PC.. Getting rid of notifications has done wonders for my productivity lately :)

    Cheers,
    Michael
  • I have created a tool to check moz rankings: https://manyseotools.com/mozrank-checker
  • royalmiceroyalmice WEBSITE: ---> https://asiavirtualsolutions.com | SKYPE:---> asiavirtualsolutions
@pyrazic   your tool does not work. showing error : " Alert! Moz secret key missing on database!"
  • I always assume these free tools are taking record of the types of sites people enter, and then sort of figure out your niche. I mean, why else develop a "free" tool other than to get data.
  • Not always. One simply reason can be that these "free tools" are often full of ads, like this one. You can just use the tool and not click the ads if you don't like them :-)
  • @peterperseo

With a combination of ghostery and adblock i managed to get rid of all that bs. That being said, he still might be stealing your data.
  • I also think they might steal our data and do something with it which of course we have no idea of. After all who creates such a website rank it ( probably with lots of $$ ) and just let us use it for free. Not to mention the server costs for those online tools are high .

Everybody is here to make money

I think some of you guys watch to many spy movies.

Many sites offer a service for free in the hope of generating advertising revenue or to interest you in other services they offer with which they might generate revenue, they might even try to build a email list so they can send you relevant offers.

What ever data they gather from your site is freely available in anyway via a Google search so i am confused what data it is you think they might be stealing.

Server cost  -- LOL @ronit you have no idea how little resources a little script uses, basically they are just gathering info from other services like MOZ or Majestic and present you with the summarized data they received form those services, this can be done on shared linux hosting for less than $20  year.

Instead of trying to find a snake under every stone you should maybe thank those guys that offer such services which benefits you and save you time, unless of course you have solid proof of what you are accusing them of doing.

    Hi

In PR jacker if proxy is not selected, then will it use GSA SER proxies?

The reason  I am asking is since PR jacker binds to the ip of GSA SER.

this how i sett my prjacker..

i use GSA proxy scraper..  GSA proxy scraper  >> setting > activate internal proxy server 127.0.0.1 (check)
then in PRjacker Bind to IP chose 127.0.0.1 .. (i dont check the proxy).. and i dont check PR checking proxy in GSA Ser
    its work fine for me

but still i hv problem with a ton of PAGE END in GSA ser
  • vignesh676vignesh676 Mumbai,India
Thanks. I am using the same settings. My question was since there is also an option of binding to GSA SER, can it not directly use GSA SER proxies.

The issue with using as a internal proxy server is that if the first proxy is dead or timesout than the client that is PR jacker in this case will presume that proxy 127.0.0.1 is dead.
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
vignesh676 usually ProxyScraper will also detect a proxy being down and use the next one (3 times in a row). If your proxy sources are good, then you should not have much issues here.
