@sven

Currently runnng V9.88

Since the last or last 2 updates there seem to be an issue with the way GSA ser handle proxies.
It searches for proxies, finds them but the testing process does not start, even though i can see it opens up the threads for testing.

I have noticed the same thing on all my installs

I will send you some screenshots

    Having issues with proxies in SER as well, couldn't put my finger on the problem though. Seems like I'm having the same problem as you, my problems also only started with the last two updates.
  • konchabkonchab Cambodia
    I also have same problem too.

    It looks like this issue is related to the proxy judge that fails --- double checking

    Confirm the issue was  caused by old proxy judge that failed.

    The proxyjudge in the below screenshot failed and was the cause of the issue --- Change your proxy judge to : http://proxyjudge.us/judge.php

  • I guess same thing applies to this one:

    Does not work properly in newer versions.

    Nikodim  yes you need to make sure your proxyjudge is updated the one in the screenshot from me is not working.

    Try :
    http://proxyjudge.us/judge.php

    Does this affect on private proxies as well? Suddenly my proxies are failing and when I try to add new ones I get a message: "No new proxies added".

    I tested all 100 private proxies with ScrapeBox and all was working there...

    @Lonzo

    "No new proxies added". - means that the proxies you are trying to add is already in the list of proxies u have. That normally would show when u import new proxies, and it is not related to the issue reported in this thread.
  • Well all my proxies are working now, when I changed to http://proxyjudge.us/judge.php
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
    fixed in next update sorry.
  • MorphManMorphMan British Expat lost in S.E Asia
    @Sven would it be possible to add multiple URLs in that section. So then if one is down there are others, maybe rotates through them? Just a thought
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
    yes thats one way that will be added
  • I tried http://proxyjudge.us/judge.php and it still throws "download fails".

    @walt download fails has nothing to do with the proxy judge.
    The proxy issue has already been fixed by @sven and a update went out.

    Download fail most likely is html timeout issue or site is down or maybe your proxy is no good.

    have a look over here about timeout settings and where to use proxies and where not - http://asiavirtualsolutions.com/10-things-your-mom-never-told-you-about-gsa-search-engine-ranker/
