Cant start up GSA

Complete beginner here, downloaded the trial offer and attempted to run it but im getting no response. Is this because im on W7?

How do I run it?

    What is W7? So you installed it on a Windows machine and what happens when you try to run it?

    windows 7, I attempt to open it then it flashes quick pulls up a quick error message where I can barely see it then completely closes. Under processes It has about 10 seconds goes up to 25% and closes

    Are you running any type of antivirus? If so, maybe it closing SER after you open. If you do, try adding an exception.

    still getting the same error after following those steps, if anyone could give their input it would be highly appreciated.
