How many threads / private proxy?

How many threads / proxy is optimal?

Some say 5 others 10, but some don't recommend to use more threads than proxies.

    for shared I am using usualy 1thread/proxy, max 2 threads.
    for privat I think 5 threads/proxy is safe.

    I always used (as suggested on many posts) 5 thread for each proxy when I was using shared proxies, and 10 threads per proxy now that I'm using only private proxies.

    It will very much depend on the quality of proxies from your service provider.

    Some can handle more while other are very limited.
