Question On Url Shorteners & Redirects
Can someone elaborate a little on the best use of URL shorteners?
Since they get followed by Google, surely their use is cosmetic rather than practical? (i.e. to make the URL's look nice, if long)
Combining this with a redirect surely Google just follows the redirect the whole way through, thus nullifying it?
Has anybody done any tests on this??
Any thoughts/experience are appreciated.
