GSA To Generate Files

edited March 2014 in Feature Requests
Is there currently any way to have GSA generate a file to be used in an upload?
All I'm after is putting an article or content to a plain text file (.txt .html .csv etc.) to then be used in the posting or profile create step. The file could then be deleted afterwards.

Basically:
Article Manager Output -> File with chosen extension/name -> Used in submission -> Deleted

Any chance of adding this functionality? :)

    use the macro %spinfolderdelete%
  • Thanks Sven, is there any way to have SER write the file to the folder beforehand?

Or lets say I have a file called upload.html containing this:
    #file_links[names.dat,2,S]

Would the html file be uploaded with that exact line, or would it be parsed into the text equivelant?

I don't know what you do here but the content would not be parsed (at least I think so).
