What's the difference between google (International) and google US?

Most of the major search engines, Yahoo, MSN, and Google, have an "International" selection. What is the difference between this and the rest? I'm trying to decide between using these, or using Google US, MSN US, Yahoo US, etc.

    international will show you all results, not just for a specific country.
