sitelist off - search off - Where is GSA getting links to submit from ?

Hi guys,

So I made a completely new project and was planning on importing a .txt file to blast to. I had search off, global sitelist off, basically everything was unchecked.

But still when I hit run it seems to magically find targets and submit to them, what is going on ? :D

Gr,

GK

    Maybe your answer is here,

    https://forum.gsa-online.de/discussion/9740/ser-gets-new-target-urls-from-project-s-verified-list#latest

Sven says, disable the scheduled posting...
  • no, even with scheduled posting off (I never have that on anyway) It still starts posting to targets

@gkgkgk - Because you had targets left in the Target URL Cache. Right click on the project:

    ShowURLs>Show remaining Target URLs
  • And even then, that can still be deceptive. SER might have target URLs in its cache that it already loaded from the "Show Remaining Target URLs" list and be processing those.
  • I think i finally found what is causing this....

I would duplicate another project, change all the settings but forget to change email, then it parses them I think?

Replicated just now with deleted email and its not doing anything so I guess i found it, thanks for the help!
