Internet Connection

i run my PC with a Ethernet cable.....lately every time i run gsa ser on my laptop after an hour or so i loose my connection...i then have to unplug the Ethernet cable and plug it back and and gsa is off and running again....if gsa isnt running i never loose my connection

anyone have any idea why this is happening

    sounds like the usually "low cost router" setup. Your router is unable to handle many open ports. You should either lower the thread numbers or buy something getter. Some firewalls (software) are also known to be bad when it comes to traffic.

    Hmm. I have a new/best router Verizon has to offer. Will look at my antivirus. I use avast

    Not sure if this matters but I decided to run it wirelessly and it also lost connection

    AVAST should not be a problem. Thats actually one of the better scanners I know.

    But running wired or wireless has no influence...if the router is bad, it doesn't matter how you send him requests.
