Site Lists and Project Engines

Never thought of it before but if I have a project with only contextual platforms checked and use only site lists, will SER:

1) Import only links from checked platforms
2) Import links from all platforms and then sort through them and check if engines match

I would think that the 2nd option would waste resources but need to confirm :)

    Yes 2) wasts a lot resources if you have them sorted in before.

    Thanks @sven So is it possible to make SER import sitelist links from only engines that are checked in a project?

    What exactly are you doing here? If you import site lists into the project using the right mouse click, it already preselects the engines you have enabled in the project.

    What I meant is if I use only a global site list (Verified) and select, let's say, only XpressEngine engine in a project, will SER 

    1) pull only links from sitelist_Article-XpressEngine? 
    2) Or it will pull links from all engines and check if links match XE?

    If 2) would it be possible to make it 1) ? :)

    Oh of course it takes only URLs from the engines checked in the project.
