Possibility to tie url with anchor in SER

Sven,

I need possibility in to tie url with anchor - I have huge amount of pages to promote, and now I have to make separate project for each manually. It would be much better to do one project and multiply it. But I cannot, because both anchor and url are now taken RANDOMLY from both separate lists.

It would be GREAT if it would be done like this:
url1|keyword1|keyword2
url2|keyword3|keyword4
url3|keyword5

and now randomly taken:

url1 with keyword2
or
url2 with keyword3
or
url3 with keywor5
etc.

Now it is done by mixing two lists which is good if you have one url to promote. Even if you want to promote subpages to other keywords than mainpage - you have to do separate projects. With my solution everything will be done only once (and then we will be able to multiply that project 100 times which will be MUCH FASTER).

Thanks,
Bart

    SER already does that of course.

    http://website.com/url#{keyword1|keyword2|keyword3|etc}

    Use that format in the URL field.
  • Ups.... Great! I will try - it will definitely help me. Ps. The sad thing is that I did not know about that feature before..
  • @donaldbeck - is there any limitation for number of KW you put in such way ?

    Not really I don't think.

    If you do find a limitation you could always put everything in a text file and randomly pull a line with a macro.

    @donaldbeck - are you sure about the syntax? I think it is like: http://www.onet.pl#onet1#onet2 not with the {|} Second thing - what to put in keywords in that case? :) The only solution which I can think of is to use there generic keywords like click, click here etc. (without putting anything in keywords it will not start).
  • http://www.onet.pl#onet1#onet2

    after first # it is the primary keyword. second # is for secondary keywords. Both can be in spin format

    http://www.onet.pl/#{kw1|kw2}#{skw1|skw2}

    Here's my settings,

    URL
    http;//www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxScOyk1vQ#{Nikon 55 300mm|55 300mm Nikon|Nikon 70 200mm}
    http;//www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxKz7KPKQk#{Sigma 70 300mm|Canon 70 300mm|70 300mm Canon Lens}
    http;//www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxgbHW7Yuk#{Canon 75 300mm|75 300mm Canon Lens|Canon 75 300 Lens}

    Keywords
    camera,lens,nikon,canon

    Anchor Text (based on Main Keyword)
    %Anchor_Text%

  • Can somebody confirm which one of above mention solutions really work ?

    @RayBan, I am using the format I mentioned.

    And better yet, configure a project and use the Test button to see what anchor text & URL are picked. Do the test a couple of times and you should get a good idea.

  • thank's @nitinsy - if you put the same kw in the url line twice, will SER use it twice as often ?
    like http://onet.pl#onet1#onet2#onet1 ? onet1 - 66% and onet2 33% ?

  • Format you mentioned is not correct

    Did you mean this?

    I haven't tested it but I bet it will be 66% and 33% as you mentioned
  • @nitinsy - I just copied - pasted your example (see below), but thank you for clarification.

    http://www.onet.pl#onet1#onet2
  • @RayBan, that example is for using one primary keyword and one secondary keyword.

    If you want a set of primary keywords and a set of secondary keywords then
    http://onet.pl#{onet1|onet2|onet1}#{onet1snd|onet2snd|onet3snd}

    Hope that clears it
