Select Projects by Mask (by Group)

It would be nice to be able to limit the scope of a select by mask operation to within a particular group. For example, I may have 100 projects running that equal the selection mask, but only those in the "03-04 dog training" group need to be selected.

Is this possible?

I figured it would be a pain, but hought I would ask.
