Icon's Blacked out

When I updated I now get my icons blacked out



I have tried to rollback to the previous version and the icons are stilled blacked out.

any idea why this might be?

it happens to me alot, just start it and after a little bit they come back

Sorry this must be related to Win7 or the compiler I use. However a quick search on G. didn't show anything to get a clue.
