How many threads to use?

Hi, I have SER on one of my computers at home, which is pretty much dedicated to running SER. Just starting out so I have 20 proxies, 10 private, 10 semi. Bandwidth is about 500kb/sec How many threads should I use? Thanks

    People generally say it's a good idea to use 10 threads per proxy you've got. But the best answer you ever can get to this is to just test it yourself. Keep increasing your threads until performance does not increase and you're not being stopped by out of memory errors. To do a good test, you can't just let it run for an hour and then draw conclusions. Try leaving it running for 24 hours or something every time you change the amount of threads and compare your results to your former results. Be aware that SER is probably going to scrape more if you increase your threads, so adjust the wait time between search engine queries accordingly.
