Hi, I have the option selected to insert an image but when I click on "Test" I don't see any image code in the article.

    have you defined keywords/anchor texts? If you still don't see somethign, than that keyword didn't get any results.

    Yes, I have defined keywords/anchor texts. However, when I view the article in preview mode I can see the images.

    ahh you don't see images on some platforms? Thats OK, some engines simply don't allow images/videos and they are removed before posting. Some remove images on there own as well.

    No, I meant before starting a project I couldn't see any image code when clicking on "test". However, after clicking on "preview" and was then able to see the images.

    Ahh ok thats just an issue in TEST, ignore it. For article content, yous should always use Preview.
