i noticed that after i updated all my projects had this ticked

What exactly does it do/mean??

    It makes the article more readable when a sentence is inserted with a generic or domain anchor text.

    Usually it would read like (with main anchor):

    For more information about dog training visit our homepage.

    With that option unchecked it would read: 

    For more information about click here visit our homepage.

    With that option checked it would read:

    For more information about dog training (click here) visit our homepage.
