Import urls ( verify platform) uses huge amount of resources

HI, the "issue" with this function its that consumes a lot of resources, expecially CPU.

Even with 20 threads on a i3(3rd generation) the CPU goes to 100%, maybe you can improve the function a lil bit.

    ok next version might use a bit less cpu resources here. But thats all I can do really.
