How to get working public proxies?

Hi, I'm new to GSA and I don't get it how to get working public proxies (I know that private ones are better). For example I checked a few more proxy sites in options panel, then searched for proxies, sorted them by country, selected around 1200 US proxies and checked them against google but all failed and are marked as not working. I tried it now several times, also with other country proxies, checked them also against bing and against whatismyipaddress but all are always not working. I mean I already tested around 20,000 proxies but not a single one is working. How to get this to work?

    find sources where proxies are updated regularly , grab them as soon as they are posted . They should be good for 4-8 hours . Or find some public proxy suppliers , who update daily at a monthly fees .
