How exactly threads are utilized per proxy?

Trying to determine how much threads max can one proxy handle in SER.
Example: 10 proxies = optimal No. of threads in case of 
a. searching in Search engines/
b. using own links? 

Also, if there's for example 80 private proxies, is there any reason to use such amount at all on 150 threads?

Sorry thats hard to tell and usually depends on your proxy provider. I would say if you have 10 proxies you can easily use 100 threads.
