"stuck" threads until I stop

Hey @Sven, I've noticed the same thing on all of my servers. In the beginning the LPM runs high (Sustained about 200 LPM) after an hour or two, the LPM is at about 50 and often less.

Threads are at max (500-1000) and CPU is low (under 10%).

When I click Stop, the threads all finish and I get hundreds of "download failed" and this:

I see that sometimes normally, but when I click stop, I get almost every thread outputting those messages. It's almost like the threads aren't recognizing the timeout or CB/Spamvilla is holding the threads hostage.

Somehow the threads are not being let go after my HTML timeout and I can see it in the windows and in the LPM.

Let me know if I can provide more info, I see it on all of my servers.

    I can share my screen on Skype and show you a server running well, and then one that has slowed down so you can see it in action if that would help.

    @Sven, just more info, I noticed it doesn't happen as much with the scheduler, probably because the campaigns are stopped and started regularly.

    @Sven, I am facing the same issue here. I have 10 projects and am running only one at the moment. In the beginning everything is fine but within a few hours SER shows only 1-5 threads are running and there are no submissions thereafter.

    Stopping project also doesn't help. I have to kill the task from task manager and then restart.

    @nitinsy got it and the bugreport looks like your firewall or anti virus blocks it.

    @Sven, do you mean you are not receiving the bug reports? If yes, what do I need to enable in my firewall. SER is configured to have full access (along with CB & Indexer)

    Even i get these stuck threads . Threads stay at max but nothing is happening in log . This happens sporadically and happens mostly when i import a scraped list to ser . I don't have firewalls installed . Will send a report next time it happens .

    Could it be sites with malware installed on them .

    Got that as well. The problem with your setup is that PR checking on google is somehow blocked on your end. The program is unable to return from that. I have made some changes in upcoming version but still thats not normal. Do you use proxies for PR checking?

    Don't bother PR checking, I've found it's quicker, easier and the resultant backlinks have a great mix of PR sites. Not that I put much authority in PR any more anyway..

    Sven yes I use public proxies . I forgot to remove the stale ones for two days could it be the reason ?

    let me check if it is working properly without PR check on JudderMan's suggestion .

    I had this problem for at least 2 months, I used spamvilla for a month, but quit it due to this bug and only getting hardrecaptcha (which brought solve rate to 9% and sucess rate to under 5%). The only fix I found for this "stuck" issue was to disable recaptcha in CB and tick "skip hard to solve captchas"

    Only problem I'm facing now is a high LPM on stats but very low actual submits, all I see is software identifying Wiki (this is where it happens most) and logs into account and makes a "successful submit" which is in fact an earlier submission which has already been verified. Dunno why it keep doing this.

    Yes finally my log is moving and I have hit double figure LPM .
    Disabled PR filter in my project .

    Having the same issue, gsa ser seems to stall and gets stuck. Only running at 200 threads with no proxies being used for PR check. Sent a bugreport. Any ideas on a fix?
