1 project VS multi projects?

This question is in my head for several days now.
If I will run 3 projects at the same time, are those projects will be slower than a GSA running only one project?
Or are the result of 1 project and multi projects have the same amount of verified links in total? Thanks!

    Depends on your setup. Mainly on how many threads you use and how much targets you have to post to.

    @Sven: So, do a single project and multi project have some difference in verified links results?
    So let's say a single project got 5000 verified links in an hour.
    If you run 3 projects, will they (each one of the projects) also have 5000 verified links in an hour or they will only have 5000 verified links in total? (maybe 2000 verified links in project 1, 2000 verified links in project 2 and 1000 verified links in project 3)
    Sorry it's really hard to explain :(
