Questions about global site lists

1) If i uncheck all of the search engines and specify to use global site lists, then which folder will GSA use for the global site lists if I have checked all of identified, submitted and verified?

2) Is there a way to re-run the identification process of sites, (I did this when importing a site list into my identified folder) to ensure that GSA is only grabbing sites that are alive/healthy/identified?

    1) all except the "failed"

    2) no you have to do it manually (move files from folder + reimport)
