GSA SER import target URLs

Let's say I import a list of target urls, containing wikis, articles, wordpress sites, etc. etc. in the project details, I don't check wikis. Will the software still post to the wikis that I imported, or will it ignore them because the checkbox is not ticked?

it will not post to them as it did not load the engine to the project settings to perform any identification. The project will just say "unknown engine".
  • @sven so if I 'import target URLs' in a project running without wiki. All the URLs Will be imported in my identified site list include wiki ? In a SER install without SEREngines.com , do all my URLs Will be import and sort in Include SEREngines engine include ?

if you uncheck wiki, then no, they will not be in identified list as they can not be identified.

serengine engines cover "only" web 2.0 engines who have a fixed url anyway...they also do not get added to the site lists.

  • @sven I've SER installs only for SERengines so I don't need to import url ?

no need for that then no.
