Youtube video tanked

Hi guys I am going to start a youtube campaign in SER when it get's taken down which it inevitably will lol (testing some theories!!) can I just remove the video, and make a new youtube account change the name of the video file and re upload it to the new account and continue testing? Or will I get penalised for using the same vid?

Thanks

  • YouTube will not allow you to upload the same video again if it gets taken down. You'll need to edit it.
  • Hi thanks for the reply.

I think I asked the question a bit wrong, I do not think google will take my video down as it is not spam, keygen type stuff, it is a very well made video. I meant if google penalise the account and it goes down in the serps because of back linking etc, could I delete the account upload the same video but named as a different file onto a fresh account and start again?

The video took a long time to complete :)

    Thanks
  • I very recently tried uploading a video which had been taken down, which also was not about keygens, cracks, hacks or anything like that and of pretty good quality. It got taken down pretty quickly.
You can make a small adjustment to the video like a watermark or something else creative. Also I've heard you can change the md5 hash of your file to make it seem unique to youtube.
  • Ok thank for the reply, I don't think it will get taken down anyway. My problem is |I am going to be blasting it with SER, I know form weeks of reading that you can throw quite a lot of backlinks at youtube as it's googles baby! The reason I asked the original question was just in case google send the video into oblivion because I throw links at it. If this happens I was going to just remove the account and start again with a fresh account.

I really want to get started as i know the only way to be successful in anything is to stop reading and start doing!

I have found this video on LU's setting for SER, I haven't been able to find anything else on best settings for youtube videos as I know it can take more of a battering! Are these settings alright?

His LPM seems a bit low only 14.

I have also read it is good to buy a verified list? Is this true or should I scrape using my keyword variations for my main keywords?

Really itching to get started thanks for any help will be really appreciated!

  • If your KWs are competitive a single layer blast will not be enough because many of your links will have a PA0 which makes them very weak. You need to do heavy tiering to get to the top.
  • What's about the new algo/change for YouTube? I have seen many people complain at BHW too that their vids got removed and reuploaded by YouTube, possibly for artificial views. Is that true?
  • Thank for the reply

Im a bit confused as I have seen a lot of youtube videos getting to page one and they have been spammed to death.

Would it be best to setup a tiered structure like this one? http://www.jacobking.com/broken-tiered-link-building
It's the part with the image of women holding the cash.

Another thing I have seen is there are many videos ranking top and they have no back links or anything just some keyword stuffing. I checked them on ahrefs and there is no data at all. How are these guys doing this?

    Thanks again

To be honest, I'd just keep throwing shit at a youtube video until it ranks. At least that's how I've ranked blogspot subdomains #1 by just throwing every link at it I could as fast as possible. Not really sure if this also works with youtube videos, but it's definitely worth a try as it makes things a lot easier.

I should note that it'll eventually tank at some point. But that's when you do it all over again, which shouldn't take more than some minutes of work to get setup again.
  • That is what I was thinking rank and bank method, and there is no stopping me from ranking multiple videos!

I am so puzzled as to how the guy above ranked number one with no back links, retention views or anything.

Also I am puzzled as to footprints as well lol. I thought if you were going to rank a website you would scrape footprints based on the keywords related to your site for example

    Dog training
    dog training school etc
    then scrape using the keywords.

This will find a whole load of url's SER can post to that is relevant to your niche, and you do it to all the sites  you want to post to ie web 2.0 blog comments etc. So you build up a new list for all the engines.

My question is do you still use SER default list as well or just the footprint you scraped?
and is SER ok to use or is scrape box better?

    Thanks so much guys!

    @cars111

Copy and paste the url of the YouTube video into a Google search, and you will indeed find that they have backlinks. But of course that's not all of them.
  • Yep your right and most of it spam blasting, what I find weird is that Ahrefs, opensite and Majestic say there is no data for the url at all and it was posted on september 15th/ How come this is happening?

    Thanks
  • how he does what? that term has no competition...
  • Yep you right no competition at all, but what was puzzling me was there was no info showing backlink activity on ahrefs and the like? Do you guys recommend a silo plugin for Wordpress or do you do it manually? Thanks
  • Hi guys quick question if I want to rank a youtube video for multiple keywords is it possible? For example get the 2-3 keywords in the title and description and tags or is it better to have 1 video for each keyword?  In GSA should I put in all the keywords in the anchor text box that I want the video to rank for or only the 1 keyword the video has video?

    Thanks
